More than 45 amazing rock stars aged 6-17 took the stage by storm at The Brass Monkey on Saturday, June 24th for U-Rock Music School’s 14th Annual Summer Concert.
Over 250 cheering fans & families rocked the event – our biggest show ever! It was a celebration of Canadian rock & pop music planned to coincide with our country’s 150th birthday celebrations. The song choices ran from the classic icons like Bryan Adams and Celine Dion to today’s chart toppers Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara. There were even sightings of Avril Lavigne, Justin Bieber and Loverboy during the 2.5 hour musical extravaganza.
U-Rock’s coveted 2017 M.A.R.S. Awards were presented to 14 very deserving students.
