A whopping and unprecedented 45 U-Rock Music School performers took the stage today for our annual Halloween Open Mic event at Hurley’s and the crowd just couldn’t get enough.
We are so proud of every single performer, many of whom were in front of an audience for the very first time. The 2.5 hour show was jam packed with music and personality, it was literally standing room only and we’ve never seen so many happy smiles.
Four “best costume” prizes were chosen by two of our young singers, Avery & Livia, who went around the room selecting their favourites and then reported back to us. Congrats to Jack, Chelsea, Kailey and Myla – for your great costumes, we hope you liked your special treats. Honestly just about everyone had a costume on and they were all truly terrific.
However, most impressive were the incredible performances today from all of our young stars. Singers, guitarists, even ukulele, cajone and piano players, plus our great bands…it was just a fantastic fall afternoon.
