THE ROXIES – An all-girls singing & performance group, (open to students 6-10 yrs old) is the latest awesome new class at U-Rock Music School.
First, we brought you our school’s amazing tween/teen band, The Crushers, (open to all U-Rock students age 11+) and now we are very excited to introduce a brand new girls-only singing, dancing and performance class for younger girls.
Those who participate will get to have extra stage time at all of our school shows and many community events. This is a wonderful opportunity for aspiring performers who love drama, dancing and singing!
The girls will work together to perform their favourite songs – incorporating lots of glam costumes & accessories, plus will learn dance/choreography and singing as a group. Learning how to sing in harmony and how to work as a music ensemble will be an important aspect of this program but mostly it’ll be just SO MUCH FUN!
Students must be enrolled in weekly vocal or instrument classes in order to participate. Practices are on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm for 30 minutes, starting November 4 to January 24 (12 weeks). The cost is $25 per week.
