After today’s lessons we will have welcomed all our stars to a brand new year of rock & fun.
Thank you to ALL our stars who did a great job working with our new RING security system to get in and out of the house this past week and for remembering to leave all footwear outside by the door from now on – much appreciated!
Please keep your eye on our new outdoor digital clock (on the left near the front door, see pic above) and ring to get in, but ONLY at your exact lesson time.
We also want to thank all the Roxies & Crushers band families who parked at Tempest Park and either walked up with their rock stars (at drop off & pick up) or in the case of the teen band and older Roxies, let their stars walk to and from the park at lesson time.
For those who aren’t aware, parking at Tempest Park is now mandatory for ALL group lesson kids & teens all year long. It is also highly encouraged for all families who wait in their cars during private lessons.
Only private lesson students are allowed to be dropped off and picked up in front of our house, but please never park in, or block, our driveway as it must remain clear for safety reasons.
Also, please drive around the block to exit Tempest and please NEVER turn your vehicles around in our neighbours’ driveways at any time. It’s a very short block and this will allow us to keep all our neighbours happy. THANK YOU! ????
FYI there are more than 12 families coming and going at the same time on all three band nights (Wednesdays at 6:30, Thursdays at 7pm & Fridays at 5:30) so it’s absolutely essential that everyone follow this U-Rock School rule to avoid parking congestion in front of our house. Safety first. You’ll be glad of this routine come winter when snowbanks make visibility a challenge.
If you have other family members, grandparents, or friends dropping off/picking up your stars, please forward this info to them.
